Sercotel Gran Hotel Conde Duque

All the staff that we met were professional and friendly. Everything was beautifully clean and the whole hotel had a lovely fresh aroma! Our room was very comfortable though the view from our window was of the roof of the basement (we could of course have paid a little more and had a room with a view over the little park at the front of the hotel). The lounge and reception areas were comfortable with easy chairs and sofas together with a small library and a computer terminal. Breakfast very good even including cava and smoked salmon as well as cheese, cold cuts, hot items, cereals and pastries. The location is good near to several bus routes and two Metro lines at San Bernado Metro Station.

The hotel is beautiful, the service was impeccable and the decor and furniture were stylish. We had a room on the 8th floor, it was absolutely quiet, comfortable, clean and with a spectacular terrace. The location was more than perfect, 5 minutes from the metro station and in a nice neighbourhood. The breakfast was great and offered a wide selection (even churros).

Breakfast was great. The front desk was also kind, bright and wonderful.

As always... everything at this gorgeous hotel was welcoming, comfortable, attentive and efficient! The hotel's position is so convenient for the City centre yet calm and attractive within it's setting in it's beautiful plaza! The rooms are all very comfortable and well designed with everything a traveller would need and more...and if you still need something extra the staff will do everything they can to provide it for you! The hotel has its own restaurant with delicious food and excellent service including room service ! Also it is very conveniently placed so that within walking distance are a myriad of bars, restaurants and shops also. The Hotel is extremely clean and high standards are maintained throughout! There is a small library on the ground floor and plenty of areas to sit and relax! The staff are truly wonderful...patient, kind, efficient and understanding. We have stayed here several times this year already and will return every time we visit Madrid. It is a pleasure to recommend Gran Hotel Conde Duque as we know that they value their visitors and give them the very best service they can !

This is a fabulous hotel overlooking an attractive and vibrant city plaza with fountains and lights! Central location surrounded by restaurants and shops and close to the Metro and taxis making it easy to visit all of Madrid's beautiful sights! Rooms are lovely.... well decorated and classy, with excellent bathroom facilities and very comfortable beds! There is a cosy restaurant downstairs and the staff are all very kind and helpful. The reception staff make you feel so welcome and have been a tremendous help with our frequent requests and visits recently! Particularly Christina and Noella who have made this wonderful hotel feel like our second home!! This is our favourite hotel in Madrid and I would highly recommend it!!
